The shape, size, and dimensions describe the stone's external appearance. When you submit a piece of jewelry with multiple stones, or a batch of stones, we note the variation in diameter within the batch.

The weight of the stones is given in carats (1 ct = 0.2 g) to two decimal places. Rounding is based on the third decimal place: if it is less than 9, the number is not rounded; if it is 9, the number is rounded up.
Ex: 0.9990 ct is reported as 1.00 carat, but 0.9989 ct is reported as 0.99 carat.
If the item is a piece of jewelry set with gemstones, it is weighed in grams to two decimal places. The rounding rule applied is arithmetic rounding.
Color provides an indication of the body color and the diffraction colors.
